Do I need a house survey?
While you’re not legally required to arrange a house survey when buying a home, it’s highly advisable. Even a seemingly flawless new build can hide underlying issues. For older properties, a survey can reveal potential problems such as damp, woodworm, outdated wiring, asbestos, and structural concerns before you commit to the purchase.
With the information from a survey, you can negotiate repairs or adjust the price with the vendor before moving in. The alternative is discovering issues after the purchase, leaving you with a problematic property and unexpected repair costs.

We have used Enfields lettings for a few years on a property managed level. The fees are decent and competitive with other agents and the service we have received has been very good. They are quick to respond to issues and after 2 years, we just had a turnaround of tenants in and out very quickly, with Enfields arranging the cleaning and maintenance in between very quickly, so it was fresh for the new tenant.
